Why Cadres?

1. Life changes occur in the context of RELATIONSHIPS.

  • We are made for relationships. They define us, help us grow, challenge us, strengthen us, and bless us.

Acts 2:42-47 NKJV They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.  Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles.  All the believers were together and had everything in common.  Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.  And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

1 John 1:7 NKJV But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 NKJV Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work.  If one falls down, his friend can help him up.  But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.  But how can one keep warm alone?  Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.  A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

2. Our culture devalues personal relationships, but God prioritizes them.

Hebrews 10:25 NKJV Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Ephesians 5: 21 NKJV Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

3. Cadres keep us connected and remind us to be agents of Jesus Christ in our daily lives.
